• Brothers, Family, and Friends:

Welcome to the Pi Kappa Alpha - Kappa Pi chapter at the University of South Dakota website. The men of Kappa Pi are passionate about upholding our fraternity’s values by living as Scholars, Leaders, Athletes, and Gentlemen. Here you will learn about Kappa Pi’s history, meet our brothers and take note of the recognitions we have received internationally, on campus, and within our community.

I am honored and proud to serve as President of Pi Kappa Alpha - Kappa Pi chapter for the year of 2013. This fraternity is full of passionate brothers from all walks of life, who are bound together by the fraternal brotherhood that is Pi Kappa Alpha. It is a privilege to lead a chapter that is composed of so many great men. Please allow me to share with you just a few of the accomplishments the brothers of Kappa Pi have earned.

Kappa Pi is an internationally recognized Pi Kappa Alpha chapter. We take great pride in giving back to our community through community service, philanthropy events, and being active in many other student organizations that support great causes. Last year, the brothers of Kappa Pi were responsible for raising $20,000 and committed to more than 10,950 community service hours. Through our philanthropy and community service, along with the rest of Kappa Pi’s activities, we were awarded the Ionic Award at the 2013 USD Greek Awards banquet for the fourth straight year, signifying Pi Kappa Alpha - Kappa Pi chapter as the best overall fraternity on campus. The brothers of Kappa Pi are proud of our accomplishments and continue to strive for further excellence.
